So, it’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything here… number of reasons really, the first being our wedding.. man that was a great time. Then of course we got back and had to get stuck right back into work…. that was not as much a fun time 😉
We’ve had a lot of things going on with us lately, in life and work (Sandra just recently got promoted, which is awesome!), I’ve been doodling heaps more, and painting a bit too.
I’m in the midst of rebuilding my site right now. I like it, but there’s so much more I want to do. I’m revamping and upgrading my custom CMS, which’ll hopefully let me deploy much more robust sites, a LOT faster. ya ya i know I can use wordpress, but i dont want to.. i’d rather give myself the challenge.
The main goals here are to improve usability on the front end, improve responsiveness, and whilst I like the animation, i’m not sure i’m going to keep it, i guess we’ll see…
I’ also working on improving the back end admin side. right now the back end isnt responsive, so it’s a real pain in the butt if i want to post something from my phone, and well I also used this backend to speed up some aspects at my day job, so I’d really like to change the appearance of everything…
Anyhow, that’s it for now, I’ll post some more hopefully from our upcoming trip to Disney this week.
